Miami, back then. Some memories still sound expensive.
Miami was different back then.
Late nights at Opium Gardens. Privé after dark. Champagne Bar during the week.
There are memories that do not fade normally. They stay locked somewhere deeper — attached to a sound, a room, a flash of light, a face in the background, a night that felt ordinary at the time but later becomes impossible to recreate.
THE GARDEN comes from that place.
This preview is built around a period of my life between 2005 and 2008, when Miami still carried a different kind of electricity. The nightlife had a texture to it. The rooms felt heavier. The music felt closer. Everything moved with a certain danger and elegance that is hard to explain unless you were there.
For this piece, I spent a long time going back through old videos and images from that era. Some of the footage was damaged by time. Some of it was low quality. Some of it was buried in formats that were never meant to survive this long. But the feeling was still there.
So I started restoring it.
Frame by frame, image by image, I worked to bring back as much quality as possible without destroying the original atmosphere. The goal was never to make the past look fake or overly polished. The goal was to recover the weight of it — the grain, the motion, the light, the expensive blur of nights that only exist now as fragments.
That process became part of the meaning of the record.
Because THE GARDEN is not just about nostalgia.
It is about trying to reach back into something that still shaped you, even after time tried to erase the details. It is about taking old memories, damaged visuals, unfinished pieces, and bringing them forward with enough clarity to feel them again.
Some memories still sound expensive.
Not because of what was spent.
Because of what they cost to carry.
Miami back then had its own language. The doors. The rooms. The women. The music. The early morning exits. The feeling that life was moving faster than you could understand while you were inside it.
Years later, I understand more of what those nights became.
They were not just parties.
They were atmosphere. They were initiation. They were part of the architecture.
THE GARDEN is my attempt to preserve that world before it disappears completely.
The preview is out now.
