Founded by recording artist CΛRMIИΞ (Sam Paniagua), Aetherflux Records is more than a label. It is the creative home for a small, focused roster of artists and the birthplace of a complete hybrid human-AI production system. Sam brings over eight years of deep expertise as a production-grade AI systems engineer. As Founder and Principal AI Systems Engineer of HIVE | A.I. and the creator of Knolo (a deterministic retrieval and knowledge infrastructure platform), he has built secure, scalable AI systems for fraud detection, identity platforms, enterprise RAG pipelines, and compliance-sensitive environments at companies including Toptal and Coinbase. He applies that same rigor — the discipline of building systems that must actually work in production — to music.
The result is Aetherflux Studio, our proprietary end-to-end production environment, and its core innovation: Nuance Trance.
How It Works
The Synthetic Guide
Every track begins with a synthetic vocal used strictly as a creative foundation — a precise reference for melody, lyrics, timing, and arrangement. It serves as the structural idea, nothing more.
Capturing Raw Human Performance
Using specialized tools built inside Aetherflux Studio, we record raw human vocals in the studio. Our software guides the performance and ensures perfect alignment of timing, groove, phrasing, and emotional intent with the synthetic reference.
What emerges is a complete human reference — alive with genuine nuance: natural breaths, subtle pitch variations, emotional timing pushes and pulls, and the tiny imperfections that only a real singer can deliver.
Nuance Trance
This human reference enters our custom AI engine.
The system performs true Nuance Transfer: it takes the melody, lyrics, and structure from the synthetic guide and infuses every organic detail from the raw human performance into the final vocal.
The outcome is always a fully human lead vocal — warm, emotionally resonant, and deeply expressive. It carries real soul and life.
Final Performance & Mix
Inside Aetherflux Studio we complete the track with full mixing and mastering. Depending on the artistic vision, we present the vocal in one of two ways:
- Human lead with subtle synthetic backing — the original synthetic guide is gently lowered and layered underneath for added depth, richness, and professional cohesion, or
- Pure human lead — with no synthetic elements at all.
Every step — from the initial synthetic idea through human recording, Nuance Trance, and final mixing/mastering — happens inside Aetherflux Studio. The studio itself was built by Sam over the past year because traditional DAWs could not keep up with the speed and precision his creative process demanded.
